Malin joins us from the marine insurance company The Swedish Club, where she currently serves as Director Corporate Legal and a member of the Club’s management team. In this role, she has worked with regulatory, contractual and corporate matters within the shipping and insurance industry. Malin brings extensive experience in sanctions, having chaired the International Group of P&I Clubs’ Sanctions Committee and in that capacity been leading the Group’s i negotiations with EU, UK, and US authorities on recent sanctions laws and regulations.

With the addition of Malin, WERKS will strengthen its capabilities to advise clients on regulatory matters and sanctions across a wide range of industry sectors, including transport, commodities, insurance, energy, and manufacturing.

Malin Högberg will join WERKS on 1 September 2024.
